About myTepache (teh-PAH-che): Tepache is an innovative nutritional and dietary supplement. It is high in antioxidants, enzymes, and probiotics that ignite your energy. The delicate process of producing it involves selecting the raw materials, preparing myTepache in small batches, caring for it for over ten days until it is perfectly cultured and infusing the elixir with all natural honey. Although I continue to follow most aspects of the recipe my father intrusted me with, my intention is to bring you a more authentic flavor. By utilizing all natural raw products, I am creating a drink that is reminiscent of the Tepache consumed in ancient times by the Mexikahs.

We are brewing a fund raiser to benefit the Ancient Future Co-op. So we have invited all our gorgeous friends, and prepared a magical venue. We invite you to dress up and join us on Saturday, August 16, at 4:20 p.m. for another Tepachanga™: Going Back to Your Tribal Roots. The all-ages celebration will include Danza Azteca, marimba, African drumming, latin jazz with Mad Harons Fusion Special, Audio Buddha, fire spinners, and Amani & Jonathan from Desert Dwellers. In addition, we’ll have a free open vendor market, food by the Ancient Future Co-op and the elixirs & brews by the Ancient Elixirs Parlour™.

My friends from the Ancient Future Co-op are hosting Funk the System. We invite you to check it out on Friday, Jun 27, after 9:00 p.m. Besides high spirits, funky music, and a place to relax, we will be offering our Ancient Elixirs: Kombucha - Tepache.

myTepache is traveling to the 10th Annual Taos Solar Fest, and you are invited. The festival will go from Friday, June 27 - 29 at Kit Carson Park in downtown Taos, NM. Our friend Michael, from the Universal Co-op of Positive Living, will be offering myTepache along with tempeh wraps and other healthy snacks. Stop by to visit him!

This summer, we will participate at the Arts & Crafts Market of the Albuquerque Summerfest 2008. This free outdoor summer festival will take place on Saturdays, as of June 21st, from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Come by the Harry E. Kinney Civic Plaza (corner of 3rd St and Marquette NW) as check out our booths. We will be on-site offering tastings of myTepache and honey. In addition, we will be showcasing the work of several local artists, exotic imports, and semi-precious stones and crystals.

Health to you! Students from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico conducted a marketing survey on campus. Stephen, Malisa, and John where on site offering free samples. In addition, as part of our radical marketing campaign, they shared the new myTepache Condoms. Click here to see the pictures.

Health to you! The students from the Sustainability Studies Program at the University of New Mexico have a new class project: Lobo Grower’s Market and Sustainability Fair. Their goals are to “increase awareness about eating and growing local food (nutrition, access, transportation, food security, well being), and to highlight UNM class initiatives that demonstrate sustainable practices,” says Rose Chavez, Event Coordinator. To achieve them, the students have invited you and myTepache Island to participate. The event will take place at the Phillips/Cornell Plaza (in front of the Student Union Building) at UNM Main Campus on Thursday, April 24, from 10am to 2pm.
